Primers

Primers are designed to apply a first, filling layer. PCG Coatings’ primers include a clear primer for steel, aluminium or zinc with good adhesive properties. This intermediate coat provides the perfect base for subsequent lacquer layers. The plastic adhesion primer is highly suitable for priming plastics such as PP, PE and PVC.

Primers also include spray fillers suitable for MDF and wood. These have good filling properties and sand well.

Applicability/Market

Thanks to their good adhesion properties, these primers are highly suitable for treating untreated substrates. They can be used on plastic and are particularly suitable for aluminium, zinc and steel. The primers are widely used on coffee machines, medical equipment, white goods, and MDF and wooden furniture, and can also be applied to melamine.
